KC Yorkies are really Kathy and Cyndi's pets. We are not a kennel. We strongly believe in
a small breeding program that promotes the quality and love of the breed. All of our puppies are raised in our
homes. Babies have been handled from the moment they were born which makes them very loving and people friendly as they
mature. Our babies leave for their new homes at approx. 12 weeks of age and are usually wee wee pad trained at this
time. They will be current on all shots/worming and will come with a health/genetic guarantee.. Below is
a copy of our sales agreement which outlines our health/genetic guarantee.
SALES AGREEMENT
Your puppy is guaranteed to be in good health at the time of sale. He/she has been health checked by
our veterinarian prior to leaving for his/her new home. For the protection of the buyer and seller, the puppy must be
examined by a licensed veterinarian within 48 hours of receiving puppy. If the puppy is found to be in unacceptable
health by a licensed veterinarian within 48 hours of receiving puppy, the puppy will be exchanged for another puppy
of same quality when one is available. If the puppy is not examined by a licensed veterinarian within the 48 hours,
no guarantee is made and no exchange will be accepted. We require a copy of your puppy's initial health report dated
and signed by your veterinarian for our files
Every precaution has been taken to ensure that your new puppy is healthy. The puppy has been
vaccinated with Vanguard Plus 5 vaccine. (Parvo, Distemper, Hepatitis, Adenovirus Type 2, Parainfluenza) He/she
has been wormed on a regular schedule beginning at 2 weeks of age. It is the responsibility of the new owner to
prevent hypoglycemia from occurring. No guarantee is given as to size, color, temperament or breeding capabilities.
The puppy's adult weight is only an estimate.
We, at time of sale; will encourage our families not to expose their new puppy to any public areas outside
of their home and fenced yards. Although we will stress the need to protect your new puppy from communicable
diseases, once the puppy has left our home we can no longer control this situation. Therefore, KC Yorkies can not be
held responsible for communicable diseases that are obtained after leaving our premises. We simply ask that you
follow our instructions strictly and do not stop to show your puppy to anyone, anywhere or take your puppy into any public
places until they have been in your home 2 weeks. No home or public place is safe until the puppy is completely
protected by their vaccines which will follow 2 weeks after their last vaccination. We even strongly recommend
that you do not take your puppy into your own yard until they have been in your home for a period of 2 weeks.
Seller will guarantee puppy against life threatening genetic conditions (heart, lung, liver) for 1 year with proof
from veterinarian. If puppy is found to have a hereditary condition, he/she will be replaced as soon as one of same sex and
quality is available. Buyer and seller will each pay 1/2 of shipping cost to replace puppy. If the puppy is kept
by buyer and treated, all veterinary bills are the responsibility of the new owner.
Seller
is not responsible for the cost of veterinarian checkups or for any medications or treatments that might be suggested after
puppy leaves seller. I, the buyer, accept the above sales agreement.
